The ESI Act is applicable to all non-seasonal factories employing 10 or more persons [Section -1(2) read with Section 2(12) and Section 2(19A)]. The State Governments have extended the coverage under Section 1(5) of the Act to Shops, Hotel, Restaurants, Cinema including preview theatres, Road-motor transport undertakings, Newspaper establishments, Private Medical Institutions, Educational Institutions and to contract and casual employees of Municipal Corporation/Municipal Bodies employing 10 or more persons in the certain States/UTs, where State Govt. is the appropriate Government.



Benefit

6: Type insured person Insurance Number, Name of the Insured Person, Father’s/Name, Husband’s and the Applicants’ Complete Permanent Address.

7: Enter the employer’s name, code number, and address.

8: Enter the Contribution Period, Number of Days, Wage Amounts, RC/CCP/ESIC 71 Register SI Number, and Employer Code Number.

9: Select Yes or No for the question “Are you eligible for ABVKY?”

10: In Rupees, enter the Relief amount under ABVKY.

11:Applicants must submit the completed form, along with the appropriate documentation, to the selected branch office.

12: The Bank’s staff will examine the forms that have been submitted.

13: The next step is the system will calculate the claimant’s amount and determine the amount to be paid to the Insured Person.

14: Finally, the sum is credited to the insured person’s bank account ( I.P).
